Einer's woodcut captures the texture and density of the Andean forest and invites viewers to look closely. The block was printed on top of bold gestural watercolors that play with the color pallet of jungle foliage. Bringing these two opposing styles together in one piece captures the dynamic nature of Ecuador's wild places.
