More About the Subject of these Paintings

The lower fortifications of the Alcazaba de Málaga, as seen from the lookout point of the Albarrana Tower, is a twisting path that invites visitors to explore but was designed to be an insurmountable and deadly defensive structure.

The Patio de Armas at the Alcazaba de Málaga is a Spanish-Arab garden designed by Fernando Guerrero-Strachan based on etchings from the 16th century. With its structured layout of acequias and plantings it is a tranquil place to look out over the sea towards the distant horizon.
